Thanks, Another Thousand. This is actually a piece of Mexican folk art on glazed tile, commemorating the Day of the Dead. I photographed the work, and then added some needed color to give it a pop art feeling as well. It is a bit creepy, but pretty tame by Day of the Dead standards.
It’s tile…so perhaps there was a series of them at one point, Brian? And yes, I’ve run across some pretty creepy DoD stuff in the past few years…can’t seem to get near it, though…scary!
