Hi Jane, thanks for the comment. Believe it or not, the original photo was of a single bare tree against beautiful clouds. I “painted” the branches in Corel Paint Shop Pro using several colors, and then experimented with the Twirl and Colored Edges features. I continued the process until I was satisfied with the result, which, initially, was completely unexpected. This is a bit of a departure for me, but I enjoy the artistic process and thought the resulting image was fun. It reminds me, too, of posters from the 60’s. Thanks.
Quite well, thank you, Brian! It’s great to see your versions of ‘playing’, as I’m not at all familiar with Corel’s software (diehard Photoshopper here!). Keep going at it!
Such bright colors, they rarely capture my attention, but in this case they really form a great swirl of energy, a certain vitality, hope and well-being. Great work Brian as always 🙂
Wow, how did you make this picture?
Thank you, Advocaat. Please see the following reply for the answer. Thank you.
Very cool. Maybe you’ll let us know how you did this… reminds me of posters from the 60’s.

Hi Brian, Who knew it wasn’t a wave? Amazing that it was a tree and clouds–very successful experimentation. Love the colors and the joyful feeling.
Oh my, Brian…didn’t you have FUN!!!
Very fun! Thanks, Another Thousand, hope you are doing well.

Lovely.
I love the color & the motion!
