As you well know having lived in Chicago for almost 10 years I can’t be impartial to this shot, I gotta be biased to my one and only love Chi-Town. It’s a great shot for two reasons, the pink haze gives it a mysterious almost dream like feeling, and trees as well as the waters of Lake Michigan add more to this calm yet a bit sad feeling. Great shot and thank you so much for sharing it. I love it.
Nicely captured, Brian! Many fail to realize the we DO have much beauty here in Chicago and that Lake Michigan is the most beautiful ‘asset’ this city could ever have.
Brian, that’s a very nice picture. have you thought about cropping it so it is long and skinny, like a panoramic? I think that would be stunning. Ray
Ray, thank you for the comment and suggestion.
Very nice and soft…. A nice contrast to my image of Chicago.
I appreciate the comment, Derrick.

Yes, Chicago is a beautiful city. Thanks very much.
Gorgeous photo, I don’t find it to be sad at all but calm and soothing. Fantastic job.
