Capturing Life's Beauty One Photo at a Time
The baseball rests gingerly on the pitcher’s mound, awaiting the emergence of today’s unknown hero.
I’d say you threw a perfect strike with that photo… : )
Mark, thank you so much.
I really like this, perfect summer time photograph.
Kate, thanks for the comment.
I’m there… who are we playing?
Let’s call it minor leauge, where dreams begin and odd names survive. Perhaps it’s the Lehigh Valley IronPigs against the Lansing Lugnuts… Thanks, Amy.
Put me in, coach!
….I’m ready to play! Thanks, Derrick.
I really like this shot!
Great composition and DOF… love it 🙂
I appreciate the comment, Bashar!
The ball sitting there could be the beginning of the story or the end. I love pix with thoughts required!-amy
Hi Ms. Amy, thanks very much!
Wow one baseball that holds so much power…life…you can apply this to every part of life…not totally fun when the ball is in your park…but so true…life gives us moments when we can stretch ourselves and grow into the people we are…scary….still doing that myself:)
Baseball is a pretty good metaphor for life. Thanks for the thoughtful comment.
What a classic!
Hi Lois, thank you!
Lovely shallow DOF!
Graham, thank you!
dude, apparently ‘marvelous’ marv throneberry was playing that day! – great moment –
Ah yes, old Marvelous Marv — he was legendary and usually the goat. Thanks for the comment.
