Thanks, Carol. I really enjoy her work, so I think it deserves an audience. I appreciate the support!
You are right! And it’s a wonderful thing to feel such love and appreciation. I have actually posted a few of my daughter’s poems on my blog, so I know that feeling of pride and wanting to share such talent. My daughter is also a painter (poet/writer/painter)…so perhaps someday I’ll look for one of her paintings that could be shared. You have a great blog with wonderful photos. 🙂
Love your wife’s gestural painting! Pulls the viewer’s eye into the woman’s eyes… intensely staring back at us… the gaze almost drifts off our eyes and to the left… mysterious indeed! Who is this woman? Where did she come from? Love the brushwork. thank you so much for sharing! 🙂
There is definitely a hint of mystery which makes the image so appealing and mesmerizing, I believe. Thanks for the wonderful comment, Polly.
My goodness .., how beautiful this is! 😀
Hi Laura, thank you very much for the kind words!
Your daughter is good…I can see this on a huge canvas in an art gallery..tell her how much I liked it! 🙂
Thanks for the support, Tammy! (Just to clarify, it’s my wife.)
